Melissa Gonella from Menstruality provides women, couples, pre-pubescent and teenage girls with well-structured and experienced support in gaining an understanding of natural fertility and menstrual wellbeing.
Menstruality is a way of being, a way of allowing our cyclic selves to guide and inform our everyday lives. Menstruality is an awareness and practice, where cyclical life and everyday life are integral to each other. Menstruality restores the understanding of the profound relationship a woman has with her menstrual cycle.
When relating to our cycle without awareness and sometimes with disdain, painful consequences can result. When we consciously engage with our cycle the experience can be rewarding physically, emotionally, psychologically and spiritually, building a sense of connectedness.
Within all cycles there is a sense of balance, a harmony that exists. We can observe this balance of polarity in a number of ways such as winter-summer, spring-autumn, dark-full moon and within the masculine-feminine symbol of ying-yang. As women, we may experience these opposites internally, for example, knowing when to control and apply our will or when to surrender and let go.
The menstrual cycle provides women with the opportunity to find this inner balance. This is the thread that connects us to our inner knowing and our intuition. When all things are in balance, clarity, strength, power, beauty and peace exist.
Providing expert guidance in how to map the fertile signs of your menstrual cycle.
Giving women the knowledge and confidence to know their own body’s fertility signs.
This knowledge can then be used to assist conception or natural birth control to avoid pregnancy. The menstrual cycle is a mirror of other cycles in life: pregnancy, the four seasons and the moon rhythms, just to name a few. All of these elements can provide us with lessons that give us a greater understanding of ourselves as women. Within these sessions, we will discuss your unique cycle and I will provide tools that suit your lifestyle and circumstances so that you can gain a greater awareness about your cyclic self. Couples are most welcome. Read more.
